Get Your Costumes Ready!
Come in costume and be ready to have some fun when you ride our decorated Halloween train round-trip departing from our Holland Patent Station, traveling to historic Remsen Depot. Keep a look out for the ghosts, goblins, witches, and more that haunt our rails at this time of year during your 1 1/2 hour round trip.
There will be a pumpkin patch, hay ride and other fun activities at the depot. Children in costume will receive one free pumpkin. Start a new Halloween family tradition aboard the Adirondack Railroad!
The train is climate controlled and comfortable, however it is advised to dress warmly depending on the weather conditions.

How long is the train ride?
The train ride is approximately an hour and a half round trip.
Where is Remsen?
Remsen, NY is a small town just north of Utica, NY.
I have some mobility concerns, is this trip handicapped friendly?
Unfortunately, this trip is not wheelchair accessible. There is no wheelchair boarding in the Holland Patent Station; however, there is in Remsen. If passengers with mobility concerns can manage a few stairs to initially board the train and deboard in Holland Patent, we can assist in boarding and deboarding in Remsen.
