Adirondack Railbike Adventures Gives Donation to Local School

Adirondack Railroad presented 2 checks, one to the class of 2028 and one to the class of 2026 at the Adirondack Central School. Each class received $2,450.

Utica NY – Adirondack Railbike Adventures presented the Adirondack Central School classes of 2026 & 2028 each with a check for $2,450. The classes raised the money during the annual Haunted Railbike event that takes place every October. Amanda Hill, Director of Administration & Communications, and Al Heywood, Vice President attended the check presentation with members of each class earlier this month.

Railbikes are a four-seat pedal-powered vehicle designed to allow you to ride and explore sections of the track that are closed off to other traffic while enjoying the beauty of the Adirondacks at a more leisurely pace. The 2024 season has ended, watch for the 2025 season beginning in spring.

The Adirondack Railbike Adventures is operated by the Adirondack Railway Preservation Society, Inc., a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization with main offices in Utica, New York.
