Should I bring anything additional when picking up my tickets?
Please bring your confirmation number or copy of your 2nd e-mail with your confirmation number to your departing train station to pick-up your tickets along with proper ID such as your Driver's License. An automated e-mail will be sent after placing order to your indicated e-mail address stating we have received your request and will process. A 2nd e-mail with your confirmation number will be sent once your order is automaticaly processed at our ticket center. Double check your e-mail address to make sure it is correct.
What items are available for on-line reservations?
Only dates and items listed and indicated by are currently available for on-line purchasing. If you wish to purchase any dates or items not indicated, please call 315-724-0700 (Toll free 877-508-6728) or e-mail: cartorders@adirondackrr.com during our normal operating hours.
What are your "Normal Operating Hours" for on-line reservations?
Reservation orders are received 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, Eastern Standard Time and processed immediately.
I cannot get reservation system to accept my order, what should I do?
The most common problem is to make sure your browser is accepting "cookies". This must be enabled on your web browser for this form to work properly. If a problem still exists please contact call 315-724-0700 and explain your problem fully including giving your computer platform (PC or MAC), browser type (EX: Internet Explorer 5, Netscape navigator 6 etc.) and error messages, if any. Please give contact number for additional questions. A representative will call you back to help you with your reservations.
I want to ride on a train within the next 24 hours, what should I do?
You may order tickets on line at any time or Call 315-724-0700
If I wanted a refund or needed to cancel, what should I do?
The Adirondack Railroad maintains a no refund policy for all trains and events. When a train has been cancelled an alternate date will be suggested if there is no alternate date a refund will be issued.

Is my transaction safe?
Absolutely. Adirondack Railway Preservation Society utilizes SSL whenever sensitive information is sent or received from your computer. Secure Socket Layer (SSL) has been standard equipment on browsers for several years. If your computer has version 4 or higher of Netscape Navigator, Internet Explorer or AOL you have SSL. SSL server authentication allows your browser to confirm a server's identity. Using standard techniques of public-key cryptography, it checks that the server's certificate and public ID are valid and have been issued by a certificate authority (CA) listed in the browser's list of trusted CAs. An SSL connection encrypts all information sent between your browser and our server. This provides an extremely high degree of confidentiality.
What do you do with my personal information after ordering?
All information obtained on this site will not be sold or used by any third party persons. The information will be used for the business at hand for the Adirondack Scenic Railroad and will be kept in the strictest confidence. All credit card and personal information will not be stored on any servers for security reasons. Your e-mail address may be used in the future to notify you of upcoming special Adirondack Scenic Railroad events only. You may request to be removed from this list at anytime. Is on-line the only way to purchase advance reservations and items from your gift shop?
No. Adirondack Scenic Railroad offers this convenient on-line feature to help train riders purchase their advanced tickets and products 24 hours a day/7 days a week using their credit cards securely.
