You can watch from the river - in a canoe or kayak that is.
Paddle down the Moose River and get a lift back on the train.

Bike & Rail Train

Depart 10am. This train offers mountain bikers the opportunity to take their bicycles north to Carter Station and then ride their bicycles back to Thendara which offers ten miles of Adirondack trails. Bring your own or rent one.

Eco Lecture and Stories about the Railroad
and the surrounding area
Thursdays  ~ 12:30pm train only ~ July and August
This will be presented on train trips from Thendara in specially designated cars free of charge by Bernie Davies. Mr. Davies is a great lecturer,
famous for his stories about the Adirondacks.

Elf Train
November 27
Departing Thendara Station 3pm. Storytelling, music and refreshments.
To benefit the Old Forge Library.
Cost: No Charge / $5 donation accepted.
